Software Launched

by msecadm4921

Honeywell has launched its WIN-PAK PRO Central Station software.

An extension of the manufacturer’s access control software suite, WIN-PAK PRO Central Station provides a centrally managed access control solution that integrates all the components of each individual access system in to one user interface. It automates many of the day to day access control functions, the makers add, saving end users time and money by enabling operators to manage the programming and system changes of multiple locations from one site.

For large end users managing multiple location systems, such as campus sites, WIN-PAK PRO Central Station provides opportunities for significant cost savings, it is claimed, since they will no longer require specialist PCs or servers – at each site, to run the access system.

For small end users they receive the benefits of an access control system without the difficulties of learning about and managing the system, it is claimed. An installer can install access door controllers at each site and provide a fully monitored access system, based on a small monthly service charge.

WIN-PAK PRO Central Station provides the following features:

automatic notification of alarm status at any site;

remote monitoring of CCTV images from an integrated Digital Video Recorder (DVR), for quick and easy response, verification and tracking of alarms;

web browser interface for daily tasks, such as adding or deleting security passes, creating photo ID badges, defining user access levels and generating standard reports;

the ability to create additional customised reports, according to the needs of the end user, which can be sent via email or fax;

and reduced service calls because of continuous monitoring.
