Integrating desktop additions, Tyco International’s latest version of Kantech EntraPass access control software, v4.04, is now available through Norbain.
Available in three versions, there’s a software package to suit any door entry application according to the firms.
The EntraPass Special Edition v4.04 single-workstation package accommodates an unlimited number of cardholders from one workstation, and controls up to 128 doors. With a distributed architecture, it provides connections to remote sites; using direct connections, dial-up modems, and IP communication using Kantech IP Link with KT-100 and KT-300 door controllers, or using the KT-400 Ethernet-ready four-door controller.
The EntraPass Corporate Edition v4.04 provides expanded functionality with the ability to control thousands of doors from up to 20 workstations. The multi-user access control system provides WebViews for integrating and displaying live video from IP cameras, and SmartLink Task Commander that allows automated system tasks. It also integrates with Kantech Telephone Entry System for multi-tenant buildings.
The EntraPass Global Edition v4.04 multi-user access control system is suitable the companies say for the most demanding applications. Accommodating an unlimited number of users, it controls up to 266,144 card readers per Global Gateway, and allows users to simultaneously access the system from up to 128 workstations. Its distributed architecture supports connections to remote sites using direct connections, dial-up modems, and IP communication. Whilst its ability to integrate with an American Dynamics Intellex digital video management system and HDVR provides real-time video monitoring, as well as video playback of critical access events.
