Tavcom Honour

by msecadm4921

Tavcom Training was honoured at the annual Portsmouth News Business Excellence Awards recently.

Sales Director Paul Tennent gained a highly commended’ award in the Small Business of the Year category at the black-tie event. Judges pointed to the Bishops Waltham-based trainers’ growth over the past 12 months; the company’s BTEC training courses and dedicated SIA licensing courses for control room operators brought record numbers of delegates to its offices. Local television presenter Sally Taylor, who hosted the evening’s proceedings, spoke of the drive, determination and commitment of Tavcom’s management and staff which had allowed it to capitalise successfully on the recent growth of demand in a niche training market.

What they say

Paul Tennent said: “After the busiest year in our company’s history it is a special pleasure to have our hard work recognised and rewarded by the rest of the business community. I am sure it will spur us on to even greater achievements in the coming year.” The awards night saw 500 guests representing 135 local companies at the city’s Guildhall.
