US Barriers

by msecadm4921

Delta Scientific, the US manufacturer of counter-terrorist vehicle control systems used in the United States and internationally, has had its barriers and bollards recently deployed at US embassies in Estonia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Ivory Coast, Guatemala, Nepal, Lithuania and Madagascar plus the US Consulate in Florence.

The firm reports it now supplies barriers, bollards and other counter-terrorist barricade systems to over 170 US embassies and consulates in 130-plus countries.

"Delta Scientific bollards and barriers are recognised worldwide as an effective solution for protecting personnel and property at high-profile locations such as embassies, which are often targeted by terrorists," says Delta Scientific Senior Vice President David Dickinson.  "Our barriers and bollards are certified to stop an attacking vehicle in its tracks." The firm’s permanent vehicle barricades range from surface-mounted and shallow-foundation solutions to cable beam barricades and raising steps for parking lots.  Delta’s portable barriers and barricades were first used to protect NATO troops in Kosovo and elsewhere.
The firm’s products also protect the US Capitol and other Washington landmark buildings, high-rises throughout the world, Broadway pedestrians in New York City, corporate facilities, the Singapore parliament, power and water infrastructure locales, European castles and the private homes of celebrities and influential people in Beverly Hills and other upscale communities.
