Standards update

by Mark Rowe

National Occupational Standards (NOS) are statements of competence and understanding, and specify performance and knowledge outcomes that are required for a role to be carried out. One reason for the standards is that they form the basis of qualifications; or can be used for training design, appraisals and skills matrices. These NOS have now been updated and can be viewed on the Skills for Security website.
