Anti-counterfeit website

by Mark Rowe

To help combat the market in counterfeit imaging supplies, the Imaging Consumables Coalition of Europe, Middle East and Africa (ICCE) has launched its new website, www.icce.net.

ICCE is looking for more leads and prosecutions of criminals involved in counterfeiting printer toners, cartridges and ribbons. Jane Mannering, Marketing Manager-Consumables Division, OKI, said: ‘This is a fantastic new look website – mobile friendly, simple and effective. It is just the right tool for us to connect and support law enforcement, consumers, resellers and partners. We would encourage everyone to have a look at the new site and sign up to ‘ICCE News’ for latest information about the fight against the counterfeiters in our industry.’

The website provides news about latest ICCE activities such as law enforcement training in Croatia in November 2014: www.icce.net/news/. It contains an events calendar identifying training, conferences and exhibitions: www.icce.net/events/.

The site also has links to pages with information for law enforcement, consumers and resellers. A ‘Report Suspicious Activities’ button on all pages lets visitors inform ICCE about suspected criminal behaviour. Also information on the site explains how to identify counterfeit and authenticate individual products: www.icce.net/consumers/.
