Marketing rebrand, website

The marketing and public relations agency TMF Marketing Services has rebranded and launched a new website, to serve surveillance, access control and cloud-based security providers as well as new IT entrants into the physical security industry.

TMF Marketing was set up during the 2010 recession by Tara Farley. Since, contracted specialist writers, graphic designers and web developers are on the team. Farley harnessed her previous professional background at large corporations to provide marketing support for organisations ranging from large enterprises to SMEs in the security and IT sectors. TMF Marketing writes press releases, whitepapers, opinion pieces and marketing campaigns. Farley’s connections educate and also feed into her role as the head of TMF Marketing. Farley is able to work as an introducer, connecting manufacturers and solution providers with installers and integrators. At IFSEC 2017 she won an award for her launch of IDIS in the UK, which brought video surveillance from South Korea. She marketed these products to the European, Middle East and North African markets as well as supported the launch of IDIS in the United States.

The company is now launching its own website. Tara Farley, Managing Director of TMF Marketing, pictured, said: “It is well overdue, but thus far all our work came from word of mouth recommendations, of which we are extremely proud. However, I’m excited about the next stage of the business.

“It’s extremely exciting times in the world of security. On one hand, we’ve seen enterprise customers move towards open and highly integrated platform systems, while recently there has been a marked increase in analogue upgrades in the UK. Plus, we’re in a tempestuous political and international climate. This means manufacturers, software providers and integrators to consultants need to position themselves correctly and make sure they are effectively communicating with the market in simple and concise terms, particularly around concerns of cyber security and the future of Internet of Things (IoT) and how these will shape the industry both now and in the future.”
