Milestone Systems at IFSEC 2017

by Mark Rowe

Milestone Systems, the networked video management software (VMS) company, will again be at IFSEC International 2017 in London, from Tuesday to Thursday, June 20 to 22. On show at the software firm’s booth E750 will be the full Milestone XProtect 2017 portfolio of products and the full range of Milestone Husky network video recorders (NVRs, pictured).

The firm’s technology partners will be showing integrated solutions at the booth and elsewhere. Milestone will have a benchmark setup on its stand to highlight the performance of Milestone XProtect 2017, a performance made possible by hardware acceleration. This results from a collaboration between Milestone and strategic partners NVIDIA and Dell. Milestone will also be present at the NVIDIA stand D425.

Visitors can also see Milestone’s two new products, XProtect Express+ and XProtect Professional+. According to the developers, these introduce connectivity, adaptability and extendibility particularly in installations for the small and medium markets.

Milestone Chief Technology Officer, Bjørn Skou Eilertsen will give a talk at the show on the final day, June 22, at 12:40pm about hardware-accelerated video content analysis and the Internet of Things, asking how this can be put to work for surveillance.

Raziel Bareket, Director North and South Europe, Milestone Systems, said: “Milestone Systems is much more than a VMS manufacturer. We are a business-enabler thanks to our community approach. This IFSEC will be truly great as we are not only showcasing our 12 technology partners but also the highest performing solutions in the industry. We are also thrilled to announce two new products, giving our distributors and resellers a whole new range of possibilities for installations in the entry level and mid-range.”

Partners present are Oncam, Araani, Edesix, Nedap, Agent VI, CNL, Digital Barriers, Ipsotek, Siklu, Southwest Microwave; and Venzo Secure.
