OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit

by Mark Rowe

The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) are working with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) to deliver the third UK OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit. It will run on Wednesday, February 26, at the same venue as the 2019 event, Royal Lancaster London.

The aim of the summits; bringing security providers, stakeholders and buyers, together to discuss issues relative to the security sector.

OSPAs founder Professor Martin Gill, pictured, says: ‘The full programme is yet to be announced but promises to be lively, informative and thought provoking. We are delighted to be working in association with NSI to deliver an event that will allow key players to contribute to matters in a way that could influence and shape the industry going forward’.

NSI Chief Executive Richard Jenkins says: ‘Leaders and senior management in forward thinking businesses have an opportunity at the OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit to debate specific topics and help shape the industry future together.

‘NSI sees continual improvement as a way of life for security providers. We welcome fresh perspectives that provoke constructive debate about how the industry should develop. Recognising new technology and shared standards can help propel the security sector and raise its profile with buyers, people joining the industry, and in communities at large.

‘The soon-to-be-announced speaker programme addresses some of the key challenges the security sector faces today. NSI is proud to be the sponsor of this, the third OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit.’

As in 2019, doors will open to the event at midday, for a networking buffet lunch with a exhibition of products and services on display, followed by the summit conference. The event is set to finish around 4:30pm and the OSPAs awards dinner will follow at 6:45pm. Book your summit delegate place for £45 + VAT including lunch, entrance to the exhibition, conference and afternoon refreshments at: https://uk.theospas.com/summit2020/.
