Memorial panel

by Mark Rowe

A new visitor and education facility being added to the National Memorial to the Few at Capel-le-Ferne, on the white cliffs between Dover and Folkestone in Kent, has a fire safety system that includes a Kentec fire alarm control panel. From early 2015 the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust’s new Wing visitor and education centre will be open to visitors. A multi-media Scramble Experience will also give people a taste of what life was like to be one of Churchill’s famous ‘Few’ in 1940, while the Geoffrey Page Centre will provide a learning site for schools.

The fire safety system, supplied by ADI Global distribution partners and installed by Red Alert Ltd, is designed around a two-loop Kentec Syncro AS analogue addressable fire control panel. Visit www.kentec.co.uk.
