Afghan choice

by msecadm4921

CCTVdirect’s Twilight Pro 10x PTZ camera has been selected by the US military for use in armoured robot vehicles  in Afghanistan. The robot manufacturer chose the Twilight 10x PTZ, as its dome camera offering IP67 waterproofing and vibration control.

Mark Raine CCTVdirect’s managing director said: “We are not surprised this camera has been used in these highly sophisticated and expensive robots due to their size and reliability. The Twilight Pro 10x offers incredible quality in a tiny yet attractive housing.” The military robots are used for mine patrols and bomb disposal and have been deployed across the globe.
