Distributor for the US

by Mark Rowe

The UK-based wireless transmission product company Vemotion reports some new partners in the United States signed up as resellers. Security Products International (4SPI) has been announced as the distributor for the law enforcement and homeland security markets.

The UK-based company recently announced the opening of a France office, and is working on deals in Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Stewart McCone, CEO of Vemotion says he’s really pleased to be able to confirm this formal launch of the brand in the States. Stewart, pictured, said: “It’s been in the pipeline for a while, so to have everything finalised and confirmed is great news. I’m now looking forward to US agencies being able to take full advantage of the full Vemotion portfolio. To work with such well-established and respected companies in the American security industry is a huge coup, and confirms our intention to move forward with an aggressive global expansion strategy.

“Being able to launch our products to the American market is a particular triumph. The country has long been recognised as a leader in security technology, and already boasts an excellent security infrastructure. To be able to launch and compete here is a real vindication of Vemotion’s technology and business strategy.”

Vemotion made a recent visit to the National Technical Investigators’ Association (NATIA) Annual Technology Exhibition, where the Thirsk-based firm showed its live video streaming technology to various industry people. Vemotion products are now available to the US market via 4SPI, who have 23 years’ experience servicing military, state local and federal agencies alike.

Stewart said: “We have had many enquiries this year, as more and more organisations wake up to the importance of wireless video to monitor, identify and prevent all manner of risks. While we have always advocated installing intelligent video systems, it seems that more than ever, people are open to the idea that it might have a vital role to play and working with 4SPI and others allows us to offer Vemotion products through via distributors with experience of offering before, during and after sales support.”
