Essen 2014

by Mark Rowe

More than half a year before the beginning of Security Essen 2014, the event organisers report the September show in Germany will gather more than 40 market segments under one roof – from mechanical security technology via fire protection and CCTV right up to crime detection technology and terror prevention.

Over 1,000 exhibitors from around 40 nations are expected at Messe Essen on September 23 to 26, 2014. Pictured is hall three from the last show in 2012.

The range on offer at the fair has expanded as well, organisers add. Manufacturers for civil security from all the major industrial nations will be represented at the biennial fair. International cooperative booths will be from: Great Britain, Italy, China, Taiwan, Korea and the USA. Hungary will, for the first time in 2014, also use Security Essen as a platform in one booth.
