March roadshows

by Mark Rowe

Hikvision, the video surveillance product company, is running roadshows across the UK in March. Focused on its Smart Solution range of IP products, the theme of the events is ‘Going Beyond HD’. Promised are live demonstrations and presentations. Each company that attends will receive a free Hikvision 4MP IP camera, and each attendee will be entered into a prize draw to win an EZVIZ S1 Sports Camera. They will also qualify for special ‘Roadshow Only’ promotions.

After its 2015 Roadshows, Hikvision is partnering with distributors DVS, Dynamic, Eurocables, and EZCCTV to bring the events to Birmingham, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Belfast.

The shows will detail Hikvision’s new Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) Solution, including new products, such as the Blazer Express NVR and the iVMS-4200 and I series network video recorders (NVRs). There will also be a focus on the newly introduced Hikvision Turbo 3.0 Solution, which provides longer transmission distances, a choice of four video signals and new features on the Turbo recorder.

Attendees to the Roadshows will get a look into Hikvision’s 2016 product roadmap, which includes insights into the new Multi-imager camera, fisheye camera, thermal technology, All-in-one Screen, H.264+ compression, new 4MP entry-level IP camera, and the new technologies to be showcased at IFSEC 2016. Also; details of how to become part of Hikvision’s VASP (Value Added Solution Partner) program – which offers discounts, rebates, training and marketing and project support to qualified integrators, installers and consultants.

Hikvision UK general manager, Jason Yang, says the roadshows are an excellent opportunity to talk with customers about Hikvision’s new products and plans, and to find out more about their needs and business challenges.

“Hikvision is a technology innovator,” Yang says. “And that innovation is driven by the needs of our end users and installers. The new products we are introducing this year reflect that. The Roadshows give us the perfect opportunity to continue that close relationship – and to meet new faces in the UK industry.”
