Vista reports that it has worked with Sony to integrate digital recorder and camera chipsets that, when used together, deliver the 960H HD quality video. The result is the companies say 25pc video quality improvement on recorded video.
According to the companies, the increase in video quality is achieved without the need to increase storage. The Vista HD 960H uses the same amount of storage as a D1 DVR, it is claimed.
Vista DVRs are available in two variants – the Quantum Plus, and the Quantum Xtra. Both record up to 25 images per second across all channels. The Quantum Xtra offers 400 images per second on playback, audio per channel and 16 relay inputs.
Cameras range from indoor mini domes through to externally rated PTZ domes, all offering 960H HD performance. Vista offers a range of 960H cameras. When it comes to viewing the cameras and recordings, Vista has a range of monitors approved by Sony as 960H compatible. All monitors use the LCD LED backlit screen providing up to 25pc energy saving compared to conventional fluorescent LCD monitors, it is claimed.
Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director – Vista, says: “Vista is leading the way in increasing the true quality of images over analogue. It’s only by combining all the different 960H elements, including cameras, DVRs and monitors, that this can truly be achieved.”
