Workstation GUI

by Mark Rowe

New from the CCTV product company Tecton is a video management system GUI (graphical user interface). It’s for a three monitor workstation, which converts to two monitors or even one. The system can display 16 multi-screen display with live HD cameras. It controls the video wall. If you have a Tecton recording system (such as the Liberator, pictured), the virtual matrix is free. The GUI interfaces with access control and alarm systems and offers 3D mapping.

Supervisers can place their own camera icons. Tecton add that the software is designed and coded by its own software developers and has no single point of failure. Applications include town centre and transport control rooms, and any size of CCTV system, whether IP or analogue cameras, that requires more than that offered by the company’s matrix keyboards.
