Airbus Defence and Space, and Atos, have agreed to join forces on cyber security. The two companies have signed a strategic partnership agreement on research and development and the provision of products and services
According to the companies, organisations are targeted by an increasing number of sophisticated attacks designed to steal sensitive information or intellectual property from them or to disrupt their operations.
The two will for example work on the development of security solutions for extended enterprises (group, subsidiaries and supply chain).
The partnership includes a worldwide distribution channel partner agreement. It addresses sectors including banking and insurance as well as the public sector, notably defence.
