The total security management business of Mitie, the FTSE 250 facilities management company, has announced a partnership with Fujitsu in enterprise cyber security and intelligent building monitoring.
The firms say this will allow both to promote each other’s security products and services in the convergence arena, with Fujitsu bringing its cyber expertise and Mitie its managed security services, intelligent building monitoring, installation and maintenance of security systems and alarm receiving services via its convergence and technology centre based in Northern Ireland, Mitec, pictured.
The importance of convergence for organisations will see a developing trend for physical security and IT security to be viewed as one and this partnership highlights the changing drivers in the security industry take a holistic view, the firms add.
