Key account director

by Mark Rowe

Axis Security, the UK manned guarding and electronic security group, has appointed Waleed Eltayib, pictured, as Key Account Director. His role includes overseeing the account teams at the company’s largest sites in London and the South East, and ensuring the delivery of a customer-centric approach and optimum service.

Waleed has worked for Axis Security for the past three years at the Crown Estate St James’ Portfolio managed by BNP Paribas Real Estate. Before, Waleed held senior contract management positions on behalf of Broadgate Estates, GVA West End Management and ABN Amro.

Waleed says his initial focus is to review existing contracts: “It is useful to look at contract delivery with a fresh pair of eyes, understanding the business’ culture and how we can adapt our service delivery to complement it.”

He reports to Axis Security’s Operations Director, John Fitzpatrick, and key to his remit will be the Rathbone Square Development, a flagship development new to Axis’s London portfolio. He will be the main point of contact for the management and a visible and regular presence on site.

And David Mundell, Managing Director of Axis Security, says: “We believe this is how we set ourselves apart. Providing a dedicated resource that the client can rely on to ensure the very best standards of security and service are achieved. Waleed’s wealth of experience will also be an important resource in tendering for new contracts.”
