The contract security firm Ward Security remains among the top one or two per cent of approved security providers in the UK after achieving a score of 170 out of 174 in an independent audit conducted on behalf of the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the body regulating the private security industry in the UK, as part of its Approved Contractor Score (ACS) scheme. The auditors stated that the company maintains excellent performance across all standards of the ACS scheme and were impressed by the companyโs key focus and role in public protection.
External assessing body Chamber Certification Assessment Service Ltd (CCAS) carried out a combined annual assessment of Ward during February and March 2018 that included a reverification assessment for the ACS for Security Guarding, Door Supervision, CCTV and Keyholding sectors, as well as a surveillance audit for ISO9001:2008 (Quality), and for BS18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety).
