Plustek at IFSEC

by Mark Rowe

Plustek Inc, a manufacturer of embedded security surveillance management devices will demonstrate the latest recorder solutions at IFSEC – B105 Hall 4.

Featuring the company’s NVRs, the lineup also includes DVR storage and mobile recorders for both analogue and IP usage of the transportation sector.

Network and digital recorders

Plustek’s NVR SlimD880 is a compact all-IP surveillance recorder can support multiple megapixel video streaming, equipped with dual Gigabit Ethernet ports that enable greater channel surveillance and higher recording and remote live view access capabilities. Its fanless design and small footprint makes it fit in the tightest corners, running silently and using less energy than DVRs and PC-based NVRs, it is claimed.

Plustek will also be demonstrating its model nDVR 580, an eight channel networkable digital video recorder, including PTZ cameras with intuitive browser based operation and configuration. Using H.264 compression, it offers real-time recording and display on a built-in video management web interface. Operators can set up through web browsers for setup, configuration, live viewing and playback.

Video servers

The Plustek dual-stream video server VS 540i is an ONVIF compliant video encoder, designed for the migration from analogue to IP. Simultaneously supporting four analogue cameras, the encoder can display on TV through RCA or with a converter to VGA local display output.

Plustek will demonstrate its transportation anti-vibration storage, which have seen deployments all over the world. Its recording solutions are designed with management tools, such as remote controls, remote backup and scheduling. All solutions can scale up to 128 channels for enterprise operation.
