Wi-Fi dome

by Mark Rowe

Part of Vista’s VK2 range of IP products, the new VK2-1080MD37W provides a solution for evidential recording thanks to the full HD resolution, the Reading-based CCTV firm says.

Wi-Fi capabilities mean the camera is compatible with the company’s VK2 Wi-Fi NVRs which don’t require any cabling between the camera and the recorder. A Micro SD card can also be used for local ‘edge’ recording, while triple streaming allows one stream for recording at full resolution, one for local viewing and a low-resolution stream for remote viewing. The dome can also be hard wired to an IP network and can be powered using PoE switches.

Features include:
• Full 1080p HD resolution
• Wi-Fi enabled
• Triple streaming
• Aesthetic design; and
• Edge recording

Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director of Vista, says: “Vista is continually expanding its VK2 range to meet the increasing demands for IP solutions in the market. This little mini dome might be small in size, and discreet enough to fit in with just about any environment, but the HD recording ensures that the picture quality is ideally suited for evidential purposes.” For more information, visit www.vista-cctv.com/ip
