Youth football team sponsor

GJD, the British manufacturer of security equipment, has announced its sponsorship for the Yellows under 11 football team at Tynemouth United junior football club.

Tynemouth United is a family friendly club in Newcastle run by volunteers. The core focus is providing boys and girls with the opportunity to take part in football and be part of a team. The Under 11 Yellows team are in the Pin Point Recruitment junior football league. The team includes 12 youngsters, who are all there to improve their football skills and teamwork abilities. GJD’s sponsorship will help the team gain essential assets needed for training such as up-to-date football kits and sport equipment.

Keith Fenwick, Director at GJD said: “We are really happy to sponsor Tynemouth United under 11s. Football provides a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop key skills such as teamwork and leadership, as well as providing an excellent opportunity to keep fit and healthy, which is more important than ever in this day and age”.

And Keith Inkster, coach of Tynemouth United Yellows U11s said: “We are really happy for GJD to support our Under 11 team. The sponsorship helped to get new kit for the start of the season.”
