Fujitsu deal

The IT company Fujitsu, has selected anoutsourcing company to provide security services across its property portfolio.

 

 

MITIE’s Total Security Management business will provide services including security personnel, key holding, alarm response and mobile patrols, and remote monitoring at more than 40 of Fujitsu’s sites in the UK.

 

After a review of Fujitsu’s current processes, what the contractor calls an holistic approach to tackling Fujitsu’s security issues was formulated.  Bob Forsyth, Managing Director of MITIE’s Total Security Management business, said: “We are delighted to be working with Fujitsu delivering total security management across its UK portfolio. Like us they are a forward thinking business looking to innovate in their sector. I am looking forward to working in partnership with Fujitsu to explore more ways to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the security.”

 

David Wallis, Head of Fujitsu Group Security said: “Convergence, innovation and a flexible approach to the changing business needs of Fujitsu were key to the development and implementation of a successful security strategy. MITIE’s understanding of these requirements and their commitment to deliver security services that meet these strategic objectives was significant during deliberations of the award of the contract.”
