Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: South London
Rate: £220 p/day
We are looking for a skilled Security Service Engineer to join a team in South London. This contract role involves critical maintenance tasks including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and addressing system breakdowns across a variety of security installations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in security systems management, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with safety standards.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and address breakdowns for security systems.
- Work with systems including CCTV (both IP and analogue), access control, door entry, and warden call systems.
- Ensure all systems are maintained to high operational standards and safety regulations.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in servicing and troubleshooting security systems, particularly CCTV, access control, and door entry systems.
- Familiarity with brands such as Paxton, Pac, and HikVision is advantageous.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Must possess essential tools including hand tools, power tools, and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Steps and ladders necessary for site access; all required testing equipment must be provided by the engineer.
- Asbestos Awareness certification is beneficial.
- A laptop for system diagnostics and configurations is recommended.
- Must have own transport, either a car or a van.
