Norbain is offering the new truPortal two-door base access control system, expandable to 64 readers, from UTC Fire & Security.
truPortal offers IP appliance-based access control, integrated with the truVision line of video products. Designed for the over-the-counter market, this product is also said to be suitable for small to medium sized commercial buildings. The products features a browser-based interface that does not require specialised training, more software or licensing. Plus, a companion iPad app enables users to remotely monitor system activity and perform basic administrative tasks, such as adding or deleting users, opening doors etc.
The system provides up to five clients at once with real-time information, event monitoring and video integration. Also featured are online help files, built-in tool tips, and intuitive searching.
