Euralarm joiners

by Mark Rowe

Euralarm welcomed a new member during its General Assembly 2014, on May 12. The Danish trade association SikkerhedsBranchen became a member of the Euralarm section Fire Safety. Also the Czech trade association for fire safety CECH-EPS was welcomed as a aspirant-member.

Founded in 1992 the trade association SikkerhedsBranchen has over 300 members representing about 90 percent of market turnover in Denmark. CECH-EPS is a 150-member association for Czech companies in the field of fire safety.

Broader basis

Besides welcoming new members, Euralarm also decided on statutes changes during its most recent General Assembly. The changes open up the Euralarm doors for associations and institutions that are active in the field of research, education and science. As a member of Euralarm these knowledge institutes can benefit from Euralarm’s co-operation with standardisation and certification bodies while contributing to knowledge as basis for education of Euralarm target groups.
