New business manager

by Mark Rowe

Securi-Guard has appointed Paul Cooper, 52, as National New Business Manager at the Plymouth-based company.

One of Paul’s key tasks will be to account-manage alarm installers, keeping them in touch with Securi-Guard’s range of monitoring services, covering fire and intruder alarms, as well as CCTV and lone worker monitoring.

Paul said: “I am absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to work for a highly distinguished and reputable company like Securi-Guard, which is well respected across the industry. A key element of my role will be to bring some valuable support to the network of installers working with us across the UK, helping to identify new business opportunities for them using the very latest technology on the market.”

Paul had worked for a number of fire and security companies and has experience in B2B sales at director level, as well as in account management and business development.

Mary Campbell, Manager of the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), said: “Paul is not only very well respected within the industry, he also brings a tremendous wealth of experience. I am looking forward to learning from him too.”

Securi-Guard describe their ARC as the largest alarm monitoring centre in Devon and Cornwall, which monitors the range of Securi-Guard’s security services, including vehicle tracking across the UK and Europe.
