A Northern Ireland-based security contractor has opened in London. Select Management and Security Ltd opened an office in Marylebone on November 3.
Select Management and Security specialises in crowd management, event security and event traffic management services, mainly across Northern Ireland. Since forming in 2006, the company has grown, with two offices in Belfast and Derry-Londonderry. Having worked on several events in England and Wales over the past few years, the launch of the London office adds staff to manage its existing client base, meaning it can better service events across the whole of the UK, the firm says.
Select had an exhibition stand at the Association of Independent Festivals Congress
Damian Holcombe, newly appointed operations manager of the London office, says: “Our expansion to London means we can bring our friendly, wide scoping crowd management and event security to mainland UK, and we already have a growing pool of trained professionals available. We received great feedback at the AIF Festival Congress and I’m sure that the wider event market will welcome a new professional crowd management and event security supplier with extensive experience of a wide range of events that range from free public family days to music festivals.”
