HD mini domes

by Mark Rowe

LG have launched four new full HD mini domes. With the Smart Control feature in these latest domes, the field of view can be adjusted within seconds without the need for the installer to attend site, the makers say. The internal module can be rotated, tilted and the zoom adjusted to give the required field of view.

Accessible from a web browser, smartphone, Tablet, PC, DVR, NVR or third party platform, this feature according to the manufacturers enables fast reactive times to ensure that the images viewed and recorded are the ones that the end user needs at all times.

Analytic functions include: Face Detection, Object Intrusion, Object left, Object Removed, Crossing Line (Bi-Directional), Object Counting and Tamper/Cloak Detection.

User configured audio detection is also included which could provide verification of a break-in or intrusion. Microphone or line input would be required.

The products feature auto focus, motorised pan tilt and zoom motor for remote positioning, 20mtrs Smart infra-red (IR), Defog, 60 frames per second, pre and post event buffering and on board SD card storage facility.

Final set up and commissioning can be completed at the control position taking the engineer less time on site. If the risk changes, the camera’s field of view can be altered via remote connection without the need to attend site.

The products come as either internal with or without IR, and external vandal resistant with or without IR. Visit: http://www.eu-sp.info/home/lg-electronics/full-hd-family/
