Panasonic pen IFSEC deal

by Mark Rowe

Panasonic has agreed a deal with Bravida Fire and Security, whereby the Scandinavian installer adds Panasonic’s surveillance products to its portfolio.

It’s part of a reciprocal deal which saw Panasonic add Bravida’s access control hardware to its line up in the UK, Germany, France, Turkey and the Benelux countries last year.

Sven Klockare, CEO, Bravida Fire & Security, said, “Panasonic has a reputation for providing evidential quality surveillance technology. This commitment to quality fits very well with how Bravida positions itself in Scandinavia. We see this as an essential part of our overall solution offering and we are proud to become a strategic partner to Panasonic in Europe.”

Contracts were formally signed during the IFSEC 2015 event in London.

Andrew Dicken, Head of Panasonic Security Systems said, “We have been working closely with Bravida for 12 months to ensure the success of both their launch of CCTV and our access control offering. The agreement certainly strengthens our ability to offer full security solutions Europe wide.”
