VSG hails award winners

by Mark Rowe

Vision Security Group (VSG), part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is hailing its staff who picked up regional British Security Industry Association (BSIA) awards. The trade association’s annual Security Personnel Awards, in their eighteenth year, mark security personnel for their dedication, loyalty, teamwork, customer service skills, use of technology and bravery.

The awards are presented regionally and are split into five categories: Service to the Customer, Outstanding Act, Best Use of Technology, Best Team and Best Newcomer. Altogether, 12 individuals (two joint award winners) and two teams were recognised by winning awards across the board. All regional winners go forward to a national judging phase. If successful in the second round of judging, the winners will be invited to attend the BSIA’s Annual Luncheon in July.

Barry Dawson, Managing Director for VSG, said: “It is a great achievement to have won numerous regional British Security Industry Association Awards. We are extremely passionate about providing a great service and are very proud of the work our officers and teams do in their day-to-day jobs. These awards are a reflection of the great talents we have at VSG and we are thrilled to have our team recognised for their hard work.”
