IFSEC ranges

by Mark Rowe

IDIS, the South Korean surveillance manufacturer, has launched a range of cameras and recorders for what it terms fast-fit and multi-site projects.

On show at IFSEC 2018 in London in June, the new DirectIP and HD-TVI DirectCX cameras and recorders are aimed at small to medium sized businesses and multi-site uses such as in retail. Besides the new four- and eight-channel DirectIP and DirectCX recorders, four-channel compact models can be desktop or wall mounted. This adds to the 1-Series range of recorders, building on the DR-1204P four-channel compact NVR, which was launched earlier this year.

DirectIP NVRs (DR-1304PC/DR-1308P) offer what the makers call plug-and-play installation, built-in PoE switches and up to 70Mbps throughput with 240ips viewing and recording. The new DirectCX recorders (TR-1204C/TR-1208) work with the IDIS range of HD-TVI cameras and support transmission over coax cabling. Both IP and HD-TVI recorders feature one-click network configuration to support multi-site rollouts.

New cameras include two plug-and-play, full-HD IP dome and bullet cameras; three new HD-TVI IR domes and two bullets; plus, a further two 5MP models.

James Min, Managing Director, IDIS Europe, says: “We have been working closely with our customers as we extend our range to cover even more applications. This choice of cameras and recorders for simple and rapid installations adds to our technology suite and will be appreciated by everyone who loves working with IDIS technology.”

IDIS adds that customers can mix and match analogue and IP and operate both through IDIS video management software, IDIS Center or IDIS Solution Suite. Visit www.idisglobal.com.
