Eddie Stobart contract

by Mark Rowe

Brooknight Security reports that Eddie Stobart, the UK transport and logistics company, has awarded the firm a one year contract to supply their manned guarding services.

The contract, which begins in February 2019, follows what the guarding firm describes as a robust tender proposal that demonstrated its ability to support Stobart’s sites, and their truck stops. While Stobart is known for its distinctively-liveried lorries, on motorways and from Channel 5 TV documentaries, these days it’s a logistics plc which has subsidiaries, iForce, Speedy Freight and The Pallet Network (TPN) and most recently reported revenue for the year of £843m.

Chris Fieldhouse, Brooknight Managing Director says: “We’re delighted to have been chosen to work with Eddie Stobart and look forward to a successful partnership. Supply chain and distribution is a key growth sector for us and having been selected to work with Eddie Stobart is a tremendous achievement for our business.”
