CHECK accredited

by Mark Rowe

Arcturus has become a CHECK service provider through the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), achieving the accreditation in just over a year since its incorporation.

The cyber security firm is now accredited to perform IT Health Checks (ITHC) and assess IT systems for the government and other public sector bodies that store and handle classified and sensitive data or connect to the Public Service Network (PSN). To pass, a company goes through vetting to show its technical knowledge and its ethical and responsible testing practices. Arcturus gained CREST accreditations last year. CREST is a global body for standards of penetration testing.

Simon Fletcher, managing director at Arcturus said: “To have become an approved CHECK service provider in a record amount of time is testament to the hard work and exceptional talent of our team.

“At just over a year old, we have now been awarded two of the highest accolades in the industry, demonstrating our dedication to delivering penetration testing services of exceptional quality. We look forward to growing the number of public sector customers that we work with, and continuing to help organisations across the board to arm themselves with the knowledge that they need to stay secure.”
