Texas Instruments Radio Frequency Identification Systems (RFID) announces support for worldwide ISO RFID standards and interoperability with the launch of its new Tag-it line of ISO-compatible RFID inlays. The new smart label inlays comply with the latest ISO/IEC 15693 global standards for 13.56MHz RFID vicinity cards and smart labels making them suitable for worldwide use in supply chain management, product authentication and tracking, ticketing, library management and personnel access control. The new ISO inlays are fully supported by TI?s recently introduced ISO 15693 compatible 13.56MHz RFID readers including the Tag-it S6500 and S6550 Long-Range Readers and the S6350 Mid-Range Reader. All are capable of reading any ISO compatible RFID transponders operating at 13.56MHz and offer a choice of output powers.
