VHS Option

by msecadm4921

Asset Security reports strong interest in the new single channel digital video recorder from Samsung Electronics, introduced at IFSEC 2004.

The product gives the option of archiving digital recordings onto standard VHS cassette, using its built in VCR, for viewing away from a security suite. Kami Raufi, Managing Director of Asset Security, Samsung Electronics’ agent in the UK and Ireland, says: “Since the exhibition, we’ve handled a large number of follow-up calls asking for information and availability on the product from end users and installers alike, who see a variety of applications for the product.” In the event of power failure it offers automatic re-booting and resumption of recording. "In addition to the SCR-3000 DVR, Samsung Electronics will be launching a number of important CCTV innovations during the next few months to complement its already comprehensive range, and Asset Security will be introducing these to the UK and Irish markets," adds Kami Raufi.
