Leonardo add

by Mark Rowe

Skills for Security report they have secured more funding for the security industry in the form of financial support for the Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Programme (for the years 2013 to 2015)

This builds on the skills body’s existing Leonardo project – featured and pictured in the August print issue of Professional Security Magazine. SfS say it will allow them to offer opportunities to apprentices working in the UK electronic security systems or providing security services sector to travel to an European Union (EU) country to work with their European colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge. These new skills can then be brought back to the UK workplace.

Further details on how to apply will shortly be available on the Skills for Security website: visit www.skillsforsecurity.org.uk, email [email protected] or telephone 01905 744000.
