Speight becomes risk director

Securitas has announced the appointment of Dr Peter Speight as the new Director of Risk and Consultancy.

Michael Clancy, who is Commercial Director of Securitas, said: “I am delighted Peter is joining us. He has a record of success and brings a broad range of business and security skills that are recognised across the industry. He is ideally placed to build on and enhance the reputation Securitas has established for top quality security services.”

Peter Speight said: “I am very much looking forward to leading the Securitas security consultancy team. We will use our current work, which includes all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management. It is a fantastic challenge and one which I relish.”

Briefly, Peter came to Securitas through the multi-national’s acquisition of Reliance Security. He’s the author of Why Security Fails (pictured). He features in the August print issue of Professional Security, in the case study of Mercedes Benz World at Weybridge in Surrey.
