Terror intent book

by Mark Rowe

Hostile Intent and Counter-Terrorism: Human Factors Theory and Application is a new book edited by UK academics Alex Stedmon of Coventry University, and Glyn Lawson, University of Nottingham.

Subjects include financial and economic crime; female suicide terrorism; and prevention of railway suicide and trespass; and emergency preparedness.

It’s divided into six themes: conceptualising terrorism, deception and decision making, social and cultural factors in terrorism, modelling hostile intent, strategies for counter-terrorism, and future directions. Some 22 chapters cover the spectrum of detecting terrorist activities, hostile intent, crowded public spaces and suspicious behaviour.
