Role: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join a leading fire and security solutions provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and commissioning fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.
Responsibilities:

Install and wire addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.

Carry out containment and first/second fix works.

Support commissioning engineers with testing and documentation.

Ensure all works comply with BS 5839 and health & safety standards.

Liaise with clients, project managers, and site supervisors.

Complete all installation paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 3 years’ experience installing fire alarm systems.

Strong technical knowledge of Advanced, Kentec, and Morley systems.

Solid understanding of BS 5839 fire regulations.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
