Job Title: Fire and Security Small Works Engineer
Location: North East London
Rate: £32,000 to £40,000 + 20 days Holiday + Company Car

Seeking a meticulous and dedicated candidate specialising in the security sector. This pivotal role caters to individuals passionate about delivering projects with precision, on time, and within budget, ensuring the utmost client satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead small works projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within allocated budgets, and to the client’s full satisfaction.
  • Frequent travel across the North and Midlands to oversee and execute projects.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, reflecting positively on the company’s image.
  • Deliver unparalleled customer service, setting the industry benchmark.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Solid experience in the security industry, particularly in new installations and remedial works including: CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems and Intruder Alarm Systems.
  • A keen focus on safety, with a proactive approach to preventing injuries, damages, or losses.
  • Collaborative teamwork skills, with a knack for managing time efficiently and prioritising tasks independently.
  • A history of working in customer-focused roles, with an emphasis on accurate and thorough documentation according to both company and client standards.
  • Willingness to conduct detailed surveys on customer premises as needed.
  • Experience in installing and commissioning Life Safety systems (such as fire alarms, disabled alarms and refuges, and emergency lighting) would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
  • Possession of a clean driving licence is essential.
  • High levels of motivation, with the physical capability to lift and safely climb ladders.
