Job Title: Multi Skilled Security Service/Breakdown Engineer
Location: South London
Rate: £32,000 to £38,000 + Travel Time + Van + 25 Days plus BH
Technical Resources is looking for a Multi Skilled Security Service/Breakdown Engineer in South London. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electronic security systems including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems across London and the Home Counties. This role requires self-motivation, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to deliver the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on electronic security systems.
- Carry out reactive fault investigation and repairs.
- Provide reliable, quality support to our customers at all times.
- Assist clients and regional teams with technical issues both over the phone and face to face.
- Maintain professionalism in customer interactions and appearance.
- Manage and maintain emergency van stock and equipment.
- Accurately complete paperwork and effectively use a PDA device for records.
- Flexible approach to working hours as required.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing and fault-finding Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
- Excellent technical knowledge of security systems and a systematic/logical approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a polite yet assertive telephone manner.
- Good knowledge of London and Home Counties postcodes.
- Must be presentable and responsible for the maintenance of personal vehicle and tools.
- Must have the ability to pass security clearances as needed for the role.
