Visualisation wall

by Mark Rowe

Control room audio visual product company eyevis UK and multimedia systems installer IVC Technologies are working on an automated visualisation wall with high resolution zoom.

The UK companies are collaborating with the research and development headquarters of an international client. An initial prototype is being developed using the new eyevis 58-inch QHD 4k LCD video display panels.

The new product will be suitable the firms say for research and monitoring in medical, security and military sectors, allowing operators to zoom in to a specific area to identify an object or focus on activity and display it in ultra high resolution.

Ray Harding, Managing Director of IVC Technologies said: “We are collaborating to develop a product that will be capable of maintaining maximum 4K pixel density within each LCD panel, within the overall visualisation wall. eyevis 4K screens were found to be the most suitable for this application when developing the appropriate software to create this unique product.

“We chose eyevis to work with on this project as we are particularly impressed with the way the eyevis team are prepared to listen, understand and proactively respond to the Client’s exact requirements, vital in developing such a technologically advanced application.”

And eyevis UK managing director Steve Murphy said: “This is a very exciting collaboration and one which will enhance the way eyevis technology can provide unique solutions to meet the demands of modern control rooms. We are delighted to be working with IVC Technologies, which has a proven track record in supplying and installing workable, future-proofed solutions using the latest proven, best-of-breed technology.”
