Marjent returns

The security and risk management consultancy Marjent Limited has been re-established by its founder Martin Thomas.

Martin, pictured, is a former senior manager and internal consultant with international experience in industrial and retail security, gained over 40 years within the safety-conscious oil and gas industry, working for Chevron, Gulf Oil and Texaco. His remits have covered the protection of people and assets in the UK and overseas.

He has developed and built security teams, led strategy and organisational structuring and has been a member on various industry and government working groups. He was responsible for establishing and developing a regional operational support and development team across Europe, Eurasia, Middle East and Africa, based in London, that provided specialist support services and organisational development advice to the operational business teams, covering the development of organisational capability, physical security standards, fraud prevention measures (especially procurement/supply chain), fraud investigation tools, management and supervision of the Guard Force and various training needs assessments.

He was the regional subject matter lead used intensively to review and develop major reorganisations of business security departments. Providing consultancy, mentoring and strategic advice to all levels of management across the enterprises, with a proven history of delivering innovative security solutions.
