Abel Award

Electronic security systems installer Abel Alarm has gained gold approval status from the National Security Inspectorate at a recent ceremony at the Association of British Insurance Headquarters in London.

Abel, privately owned, is Leicester-based. The approval follows an assessment of its alarm receiving centre covering intruder alarms, fire alarms and CCTV.

Pat Allen, Director of Abel, and Tony Mitchell, Operation Manager, were presented with the award by NSI Chief Executive Tom Mullarkey. Only ten companies in the UK have all three monitoring scopes. Pat said: "This is a great achievement for Abel. It demonstrates that we are at the forefront of the industry and offer the very best monitoring services available. We will continue to develop our expertise to the benefit of our customers and anticipate a very successful future for the business."
