Electronic security systems installer Abel Alarm has gained gold approval status from the National Security Inspectorate at a recent ceremony at the Association of British Insurance Headquarters in London.
Abel, privately owned, is Leicester-based. The approval follows an assessment of its alarm receiving centre covering intruder alarms, fire alarms and CCTV.

Pat Allen, Director of Abel, and Tony Mitchell, Operation Manager, were presented with the award by NSI Chief Executive Tom Mullarkey. Only ten companies in the UK have all three monitoring scopes.
