ANPR Cameras

by msecadm4921

Vista’s new range of ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) bollard cameras has been designed the makers say to capture number plates for situations where entry-exit barriers are in use.

The cameras, which can be used as stand alone units or in conjunction with Vista’s VNPR software, have an impressive 98 per cent image capture rate for legal retro-reflective plates. The use of IR LED illumination means that there is no need for regular bulb changes. It also ensures that reliable images can be collected day and night, no matter what the lighting the firm adds.

The cameras have been re-designed to make installation as simple and quick as possible, it is claimed. Each unit comes pre-configured so that there are no complicated installation settings, other than ensuring that the camera is pointing in the right direction.

“The range comes in a variety of options with a common look across all the models,” says Mark Pritchard, Vista’s divisional director. “ The new design both looks great and is suitable for a wide range of applications, including automated car parks,  retail parks, airports, hotels and many more.” For more information visit –
