FaceKey Corporation, www.facekey.com has announced that its biometric based Compact access control system, which uses fingerprints for identification can now work with both optical and capacitive fingerprint readers.
As a result of the enhancement, the enrollment of users fingerprints is much simpler, according to the makers, recognition is faster, it is claimed, and the system will operate effectively in a wider range of environmental conditions.

About the Compact

The system is network-based. Each door controller can drive up to two bolts, or two strike mechanisms or two magnetic locks. In addition to its fingerprint matching, the system can also accommodate the traditional technologies: proximity or slide cards, keypads or barcodes.
