Safety Series

by msecadm4921

Inadequate environmental hazard protection in the home causes the loss of thousands of lives in the UK each year.

Distributor ADI-GARDINER (UK) reports that it is working with Visonic to address this issue and help keep people safer in their homes.

The Home Safety Series of wireless detectors is designed to protect homes from a variety of environmental dangers. The Carbon Monoxide Detectors, Flood Detectors and Natural Gas Detectors that form part of the range are new to the market and address the increasing need for environmental hazard protection in the home.

The detectors are centrally managed by the Visonic PowerMax control panel, which receives security alerts and has the facility to forward these directly to a private telephone line, so that even if the user is not at home, they can take steps to protect others who may not be aware of the immediate danger.

The Carbon Monoxide and Smoke detector have both been certified by the Loss Prevention Council Board (LPCB) and have been manufactured according to ISO9001 standards of quality assurance. To simplify maintenance of the system, a visual and audio alert is activated in the event of detector failure, low battery or tampering.

Julie Hartley, Intruder Product Manager at ADI-GARDINER adds: "The Home Safety Series from Visonic is a great innovation and addresses the increasingly dangerous and costly issue of environmental hazards within the home."
