Call Connection

by msecadm4921

Cellcrypt Ltd, a supplier of mobile and fixed voice security solutions, is previewing its new robust, one man portable secure PBX solution for military, blue-light and crisis management applications at this week’s Counter Terror Expo in London.

Cellcrypt’s new PBX IAB is a field deployable COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) solution that supports secure Voice over IP (VoIP) landline-to-landline and landline-to-mobile calls. This makes it possible to rapidly establish a totally private, secure fixed and mobile communications telephone network in the field, linking any number of commercial mobile devices and fixed line phones anywhere in the world. All that is needed is a fixed or mobile internet connection.

Weighing around 10 Kilograms, Cellcrypt PBX IAB can be housed in a rugged wheeled box or mounted in a signals Bergen, for use in all weather environments with the appropriate housing. Or, Cellcrypt PBX IAB can be installed in a vehicle using conventional mountings and rack systems or more discreet under-seat placement.

Cellcrypt PBX IAB is the latest addition to Cellcrypt’s mobile and fixed line voice security solutions that secure existing PBX and mobile deployments.

Cellcrypt Mobile software runs on standard mobile phones and uses Voice Over IP (VOIP) to deliver voice quality, low voice delays (latency), global coverage and intercontinental call capability across 3G, WiFi, and GPRS networks.

The Cellcrypt PBX Gateway connects to an existing PBX system allowing users to complete secure calls from landlines to Cellcrypt secured mobile devices. The Cellcrypt PBX Gateway verifies and decrypts the incoming data and then converts the voice stream into the SIP standard that can be handled by modern IP PBXs.

Cellcrypt is undergoing certification to the FIPS 140-2 standard approved by the US National Institute of Standard (NIST).

“Traditional secure voice solutions have almost exclusively run over Circuit Switched Data (CSD) networks and provide poor call quality and fail across most international boundaries,” says Simon Bransfield-Garth, CEO at Cellcrypt. “Cellcrypt has now broken through these barriers with an easy-to-use solution based on VoIP and the latest commercially available mobile phones and desk phones. This radical new approach to voice security presents exciting new cost-effective opportunities for organisations involved in counter terrorism activities.”
